In this passage, we look at Christ’s statement about the nature and heart of man, and how his words reflect what is in him. This is opposed to the ideology so common throughout history that man is good, and evil is fed into him; contrary to this, man is evil, and that pours forth from his soul. Only Christ can save us from this.
