In our Worship Service, we worship the Lord through the careful study of His Word but we start worship through music and song. We utilize the best of the historic hymns of the faith, along with the Biblically correct contemporary songs, in a blended music format that exalts Christ.
In Matthew 22:37, Jesus declared that the greatest commandment is, “You shall love the Lord your God with all heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.” Psalm 29:2 commands worship: “Ascribe to the Lord the glory due to His name; worship the Lord in holy array.” In Ephesians 1:5-6, Paul emphasized that one purpose of the church is worship: “He predestined us to adoption as sons . . . to the praise of the glory of His grace. . . .” Clearly, the Bible makes worship a supreme duty of man for all of eternity and it is certainly also a supreme purpose of the church.
“Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe; for our God is a consuming fire.” Hebrews 12:28-29
